Client Need 

Google Double Click enables advertisers to more effectively create, manage and grow high-impact digital marketing campaigns. Creative Destruction Films worked with Magnet Media to execute their creative direction.

The Solve 

 We took the client brief and broke down what the tone of the video should be. Our role was to create the look, tone and feel of the video, tying together client interviews with B-Roll shots at the NYC Google campus. We understood the challenges that marketers faced when using other services. It was important to us for the video to feel airy and open while having the interaction with our interviewees feel intimate. We incorporated sliders to create movement and didn’t shy away from showing the process of how the video was created. 

Because we were dealing with an active work environment we used a small camera package of 3 cameras. Our thought process was to embrace simplicity in these environment. Two cameras were dedicated to capturing the interview and one was used to capture a “behind the scenes” look of our own creative process. We knew this was the best course of action because there are a lot of technical moving parts that go into creating a successful marketing campaign that the clients and end user never see. We wanted to highlight the commitment of these marketers as they told us their stories.
